These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Train With Docker platform, published by Kactica. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1Preamble
- Train With Docker is a SaaS platform for practical Docker and Docker Swarm training.
- The platform provides isolated Docker environments for learning and preparation for the Docker Certified Associate (DCA) certification.
- By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
- These terms are governed by French law.
2Definitions
- "Service": the Train With Docker platform accessible via trainwithdocker.com
- "User": any person who creates an account and uses the Service
- "Account": the personal space created during registration, protected by credentials
- "Docker Session": a temporary and isolated Docker environment assigned to a User
- "FREE Plan": free offer with 1-hour sessions and basic scenarios
- "PREMIUM Plan": paid offer with 3-hour sessions and access to all scenarios
- "Educational Content": scenarios, quizzes, tutorials, and documentation provided on the platform
3Service Description
- Train With Docker provides real Docker Swarm environments for hands-on learning.
- The platform offers interactive scenarios covering Docker basics to production configurations.
- Theoretical quizzes and mock exams prepare you for DCA certification.
- Each user has isolated environments ensuring security and privacy.
- The Service is available 24/7, subject to scheduled maintenance.
4Account Creation
- Registration is open to any adult individual or minor with parental consent.
- You can register via email/password or via OAuth (GitHub, Google).
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Only one account per person is allowed. Multiple accounts may be suspended.
- The information provided must be accurate and up to date.
5Plans and Pricing
- FREE Plan: 1-hour sessions (renewable), 1 sandbox session + 1 scenario session, up to 5 instances per session, access to free scenarios.
- PREMIUM Plan: 3-hour sessions (renewable), 1 sandbox session + 4 scenario sessions, up to 5 instances per session, access to all scenarios including DCA preparation.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not have access to your banking information.
- PREMIUM subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the option chosen.
- Refund: 14-day money-back guarantee for PREMIUM subscriptions.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
6Service Usage
- Authorized use: personal learning, certification preparation, practicing Docker skills.
- Prohibited use: cryptocurrency mining, unauthorized network attacks or penetration testing, hosting illegal content.
- Prohibited use: attempts to bypass resource limits, sharing or reselling your credentials.
- Prohibited use: use of bots, automated scripts, or tools that disrupt the Service.
- Allocated resources (CPU, memory, storage) are limited per session and per plan.
- Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
7Docker Sessions
- Each session has a limited duration: 1 hour (FREE) or 3 hours (PREMIUM).
- Sessions expire automatically at the end of the allocated time.
- All container data is deleted when the session expires.
- Docker environments are completely isolated between users via dedicated networks.
- Only Docker images authorized by the platform are available.
- The platform reserves the right to terminate a session if abuse is detected.
8Intellectual Property
- All educational content (scenarios, quizzes, documentation) is the exclusive property of Kactica.
- You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the content.
- Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of the content is strictly prohibited.
- The Docker, Docker Swarm, and DCA trademarks belong to their respective owners.
- The platform's source code remains the exclusive property of Kactica.
9Personal Data
- The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- We only collect data necessary for the operation of the Service.
- Your data is protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- You have rights of access, rectification, deletion, and portability of your data.

10Liability
- The Service is provided "as is" without guarantee of permanent availability.
- Kactica cannot be held responsible for service interruptions, data loss, or bugs.
- Kactica is not responsible for how you use the skills acquired on the platform.
- Our liability is limited to the amounts you have paid over the past 12 months.
- In case of force majeure (natural disaster, cyberattack, etc.), our obligations are suspended.
11Suspension and Termination
- Kactica may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these Terms.
- Grounds for suspension: resource abuse, non-payment, illegal activities, harmful behavior.
- You can terminate your account at any time from your profile settings.
- Upon termination, you lose access to your progress and PREMIUM content.
- Data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12Modifications to Terms
- Kactica reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
- Significant changes will be notified by email or via a banner on the platform.
- New Terms take effect 30 days after notification.
- Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13Applicable Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by French law.
- In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
- Failing that, French courts will have sole jurisdiction.
- For European consumers, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
